Abstract

Dihydroavicine (1) and rhetsinine (hydroxyevodiamine) (5) have been isolated from the bark of Zanthoxylum budrunga Wall. The 1H and 13C nmr assignments reported earlier for sanguinarine have been revised on the basis of HETCOR and selective INEPT studies.
