Abstract
From the roots of Clausena indica Oliv. the furanocoumarins imperatorin (I), phellopterin (III), chalepensin (IV) and the dihydrofuranocoumarin chalepin (V) have been isolated. Chalepensin has been shown to be identical with xylotenin.
