Abstract

The production yields of neutron-deficient nuclei 127Cs and 129Cs have been measured in the reaction of 11B with natSΠ target using heavy-ion-induced complete fusion reaction. The experimentally determined production yields are compared with the statistical model predictions and are found to be in good agreement. The yields from heavy-ion fusion reactions are compared with that produced in spallation reactions. The present study is carried out as a part of our program of measurement of ground state properties of radioactive nuclei by laser spectroscopy.
