Abstract

In vitro digestibility studies on raw bajra (a millet crop) were carried out by incubating some of the cleaned milled grain with trypsin and pepsin and observing the amino acids released at 2-h intervals for 12 h. Little detail of method or results are given, but the authors conclude from their own and other work that dhesi var. are better digested than hybrid var. of bajra.
