Abstract

Biological system, in general, can function effectively when the product of the system are in proper configuration and harmful effects due to misaggegaration are avoided. Folding of proteins and their functional consequences have been a subject of active research since several years now. However, it is not clear whether durinf protein synthesis from genetic message, the same set of rules are employed or participationof new effectors takes place. In ythis review, we show that at least in the case of transcription or translation, the part of machinery act on 'self' for the folding activity.
