Abstract

Dynamics of different photophysical processes are markedly affected in organized midia. Cinfinement of the probe in a small volume seriously hinders the free motion of the probes. The local properties such as, polarity, viscosity and pH in an organized media are very different from those in an ordinary liquid. The extreme sensitivity of the dynamics of the photophysical processes have been utilized to infer the microscopic properties of the organized midia.
