Abstract

BaTiO3 has been sintered at 1000-1100°C for periods from 1/6 to 2 hours with 10-20 wt% glass of 74mole% Bi2O3-26% B2O3 composition. The resulting composites, consisting of BaTiO3 grains surrounded by a glass, show εRT=1300-1500 and εmax=2500. The Curie temperature is nearly unaffected by the amount of the glass content.
