Abstract

We calculate the distribution of blocking temperatures f(T) in amorphous spin glass alloy (Fe0.64Mn0.36)75P16B6Al3 by comparing Mookerjee and Chowdhury's percolation model (based on Mydosh's qualitative picture) with experimental data. The qualitative features are in good agreement with f(T) for canonical spin glass Cu Mn (0.7 at %) and insulating spin glass CoO.Al2O3.SiO2 (14.3 at % Co) obtained by Van Duyneveldt and Mulder. The sharp peak in f(T) near Tg is shown to be the manifestation of cooperative effect in the percolation process.
