Abstract
The measurements of depolarization factors and intensity of transversely scattered light have been made during the thixotropic gelation of aluminum molybdate and thorium molybdate gels. It has been observed that mechanical shaking of a thixotropic gel does not affect the size and the shape of the particles. The low values of ρυ indicate that the particles in the gels are isotropic.
