Abstract
One-pot syntheses of ketol SS-5a, enone S-2 and optically active spiroenediones S-14, R-7 and S-15 are reported. A one-pot annulation of 2-methylcyclopentane-1,3-dione, 2-methylcyclohexane-1,3-dione and some 2-formylcycloalkanones to give optically active enediones S-1, S-2 and S-14, R-7 and S-15 is reported.
