Abstract

A preliminary study of the variation of superconducting transition temperature of ternary Nb50Ti30M20 (M = Mo, Pt, Pd, V and Ru) solid solutions is reported. We find the agreement between the theoretical values predicted by Meidema and the observed values is very poor. A possible cause for this discrepancy is mentioned.
