Abstract
This article describes-a new method, suitable for use on a digital computer, for evaluating the singular double integral of Hayes which determines the transonic wave drag of a slender body. Comparison with known exact results and with an earlier computer program described by Eminton shows the present method to be accurate as well as economic in computer time.
