Abstract
Enrichment of Cu mill tailings through flotation with a view to recover the lost Cu values has been attempted. Possibilities of producing a 'secondary concentrate' from typical plant tailings have been examined. Various physicochemical parameters that affect such flotation procedure are illustrated. A flotation-cum-acid leaching procedure is outlined to recover the Cu values from tailings.
