Abstract
Experiments cited illustrate the effect of various flotation reagents of different concentrations on the oxidation of zinc sulfide and ferrous iron by Tiobacillus ferro-oxidans . Concentration ranges of the organic surfactants were confined to those typically used in flotation practice. Results are discussed in relation to the Arndt-Schulz Law.
