Abstract

Accelerated hydrolysis of model phosphodiester substrates assisted by a uranyl ion immobilized adenylated homopolymer is reported. This catalytic system is amenable to efficient recycling thereby considerably expanding the scope of actinide ion catalyzed phosphodiester hydrolysis.
