Abstract

The magnetic susceptibility of Mn2P shows a peak around 110°K, indicating antiferromagnetic ordering. From susceptibility and 31P Knight shifts in the paramagnetic state the hyperfine fields at two phosphorus sites have been found to be + 3.5 and + 21.8 kOe per μβ of Mn. NMR of 55Mn was observed from one of the manganese sites.
