151Eu and 57Fe Mössbauer measurements in the compounds EuX2P2 (X = Fe, Co,, Ni) are reported here. In EuCo2P2 and EuFe2P2, Eu ions are found to be in the divalent state and magnetically order at low temperatures. In EuFe2P2, Fe has no moment. In EuNi2P2, Eu ions are in the intermediate valence state and the line width of 151Eu Mössbauer spectrum exhibits an unusual temperature dependence.
