Abstract

Hydrogen is sorbed by "amorphous" molybdenum sulphide at two sites. One site becomes saturated at pressures less than 1 atmosphere and at temperatures less than 423 K. This is the site at which linear S-H bonds form. The second site is occupied at higher temperatures, and the preliminary data suggests saturation is reached at ~50 Atm.
