Abstract

Push-pull substitution makes cyclopropanes to Synthesequivalenten for the 1,3-dipolar synthons 2, the formal [3+2]-additions with arylacetylenes received. The tert-Butyldiphenylsilylmethyl-substituted cyclopropyl ketones 1 react in the presence of TiCl4 with arylacetylenes regio-and stereoselectively to the cyclopentene derivatives 3 (R=nBu, tBu, Ph).
