Abstract

The stereoselective intramolecular cyclization of epoxypropyl cinnamyl amines mediated by substoichiometric quantities of CAN leading to the synthesis of functionalized piperidines and the formation of a supramolecular assembly of the latter with ethyl acetate is described.
