Abstract

The discrepancy between observed and calculated ultraviolet fluxes of A to G stars can be largely alleviated between λλ1376-2400 Å , if absorption coefficients of the A-X band of CO and bound-free transitions of AlI are incorporated in the model calculations. However, the discrepancy around λ2800 needs further investigation.
