Abstract

The anti-T lectin from jackfruit (Artocarpus integrifolia) has been crystallized in two distinct forms. One of them is monoclinic, P21 with a=84.1 Å, B=92.5 Å, C=168.2 Å (1 Å=0.1 nm) and β=90.2°, while the other is orthorhombic, P212121, with a=92.5 Å, B=98.7 Å and C=164.5 Å. Both the crystal forms contain eight tetrameric molecules (Mr ≈ 40,000) in the unit cell.
