Abstract

Some recent results in stability theory are used to derive criteria for the BIBO stability of two broad classes of lumped-distributed networks. The first class of networks consists of "feedback" networks whose forward gain is one of the ABCD parameters of an arbitrary nonuniform RC transmission line, and whose feedback gain is constant. The second class consists of networks which are arbitrary interconnections of active elements and open and short-circuited commensurate RC lines.
