Abstract

The second-frequency-moment sum rules for the longitudinal and the transverse current correlation functions have been obtained for a two-dimensional classical electron liquid. The characteristic frequencies for the longitudinal and the transverse excitations obtained from them are numerically calculated in the domain 2.23≤Γ≤50.00 using the Monte-Carlo g(r) of Totsuji.
