Abstract

Following the method of sentinels of J.-L. Lions (see [4]), we construct a boundary sentinel for a problem of vibrations of a thin body. This problem contains pollution terms in the boundary conditions. We study the behaviour of this sentinel when the body thickness goes to zero. Further, we characterize stealthy pollution terms.
