Abstract

This paper forms the first report of an ethnobotanical study in the state of Nagaland. Fifty-one medicinal plants used by the Aos tribe in Nagaland are reported. This list is not exhaustive as it is anticipated that many more such plants will be added after thorough botanical exploration and more detailed ethnobotanical studies.
