Abstract

All the isobar-pion coupling constants are calculated using the Lie algebra [SU(2)⊗SU(2)] × T9 of the strong-coupling theory. The N* →NΠ reduced width comes out to be in agreement with experiment. We also calculate isobar magnetic moments in terms of proton and neutron magnetic moments. The results obtained are also compared with SU(6) and reciprocal-bootstrap predictions.
