Abstract

The reaction of intramolecularly coordinating 2-(4,4-dimethyloxazolino)phenyl selenolate ligand with anhydrous BiCl3 (3:1 equivalents) produces the monomeric, air stable, homoleptic bismuth(III) selenolate complex.
