Abstract

The results of heat capacity (C) (0.5-40 K), electrical resistivity and susceptibility measurements on the solid solution, Pr1−xLaxCu2Si2, are reported the value of C per Pr mole above the Néel temperature is not depressed by the substitution of La for Pr, in contrast with the positive chemical pressure dependence we reported earlier. Implications of this finding are discussed taking the behaviour of other data into account.
