Abstract

In the present study we have examined the interaction between the NK cells and parasitized erythrocytes. Our results indicate that Plasmodium falciparum (Pf)-infected red blood cells (RBCs) (IRBC) are poor targets for NK cells but can inhibit the lysis of K562 target cells by NK cells
