Abstract
Naturalness arguments are presented vis-á-vis the chiral symmetry of the lightest fermionic generation, in support of Glashow's Ansatz on the proportionality between the mass matrices of the charge-⅔ quarks and of the leptons, leading to a prediction on the top mass.
