Abstract
The entropy production in the stationary state for various electro-kinetic phenomena is examined from geometrical considerations. The form of phenomenological equations for the non-linear region is suggested and non-linear thermodynamics of electro-kinetic phenomena is developed. The domain of validity of Saxen's relations is examined.
