Abstract

We have predicted the absorption spectrum of the transition state configurations for the collinear reaction H+H2→H3→H2+H by solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation for the nuclear motion. The spectral features have been interpreted in terms of the build up of the probability density function in the inner repulsive wall of the potential-energy surface.
