Abstract

Reactive and non-reactive transition probabilities are reported for the collinear He+H2+ collisions in the energy range 0.955-1.5 eV. An interesting mirror-image relation between states of the same symmetry is pointed out. The scattering resonances are interpreted qualitatively in terms of the bound states supported by the vibrational adiabatic potential in hyperspherical coordinates.
