Abstract

The effect of specific neutralization of endogenous somatotropin by antisera to bovine somatotropin on the ornithine decarboxylase activity in the liver, adrenal, brain, kidney, and testes of 21-day-old immature male rats has been studied. Results show that the ornithine decarboxylase activity in the liver, kidney, and brain is markedly decreased. However, no effect on the enzyme activity in the adrenal and testes occurs.
