Abstract

An improved procedure has been developed for the synthesis of highly substituted pyrroles through a simple one-pot reaction of α ,β -unsaturated aldehydes/ketones, amines and nitroalkanes on the surface of silica gel without any solvent undermicrowave irradiation.
