Abstract

Selective deprotection of t-butyldimethylsilyl ethers has been achieved under mild conditions using an aqueous solution of zinc tetrafluoroborate. Deprotection of t-butyldimethylsilyl ether has been achieved using an aqueous solution of zinc tetrafluoroborate.
