Abstract

Recent measurements on the resistivity of (La-Sr)2CuO4 are shown to fit within the general framework of Luttinger liquid transport theory. They exhibit a crossover from the spin-charge separated "holon nondrag regime" usually observed, with ρab~T, to a "localizing" regime dominated by impurity scattering at low temperature. The proportionality of ρc and ρab and the giant anisotropy follow directly from the theory.
