Abstract

A perfect Kagomé lattice is displayed by the mixed-valent layered structure of [HN(CH2)6NH][FeIIIFe2IIF6(SO4)2]·[H3O], in which 100 % of the iron sites are occupied. The complex exhibits unusual magnetic properties; both magnetic frustration and ferrimagnetic behavior are observed.
