Abstract
Recent estimates of the difference of binding energies between 3H and 3He nuclei due to the Coulomb repulsion between the protons give a value which is insufficient by about 0.1 to 0.2 MeV from the experimental value. An attempt is made to explain this in terms of electromagnetic of a non-Coulombic nature.
