Abstract
Uranyl ion in the presence of thiocyanate gave two polarographic waves, the first corresponding to a two-electron reduction of UO2+2 to U+4 and the second corresponding to a one-electron reduction of U+4 to U+3. The dependence of the two waves on acid concentration, temperature, etc., was studied.
