Abstract
1. A number of new adsorption indicators have been investigated for the titration of thiocyanate ions against silver ions and the useful range of their applicability has been compared. 2. Tetraiodophenol sulphonphthalein has been found to serve as a very sharp indicator and is applicable upto pH as low as 2 and gives very well defined end points for dilutions as low as N/500.
