Abstract

A hort, general and flexible approach to cis ,syn , cis -tricyclo (6.3.0.02,6) undecane 4,10-dione and its derivatives from abundantly available pentacyclo (5.4.0.02,6.03,10.05,9) undecane-8, 11-diones is described.
