Abstract

Four barley strains viz. 1098-2, 1098-7, 1098-9 and 733-6, obtained from the progeny of the crosses, Jyoti × Hyproly and Vijay × Hiproly which showed an increase in the grain protein content and an improvement in amino acid balance, were identified.
