Abstract

Starting from the basic idea that density tuning of the isotropic Raman Fermi resonance is continuous from the dilute gas to the solid phase of CO2, reanalysis of the experimental results over a large fluid density range is in agreement with the exact Fermi resonance v1 = 2v2 of the unperturbed bands at a value close to ρF = 1 g cm-3 in the high-density fluid phase.
