Abstract

Structural studies of the migmatites, calc-granulites, and para-amphibolite inclusions of the banded gneiss complex in the vicinity of Nathdwara show the region to be tectonically homogeneous. The mechanism of folding is suggested to have been mainly flexural slip, with some flowage, which is reflected in the small wave length compared to amplitude of recumbent folds.
