Abstract

The black hole system GRS 1915+105 exhibits various types of long term variability. Here we show that this behavior can be explained in terms of a deterministic non-linear system. In particular, evidence is provided for a non-linear deterministic limit cycle origin of the low frequency QPO exhibited by this source.
