Abstract

The standard molar Gibbs energies of Na2 WO4(s) and of Nae WO4(s) were determined by measurements of the mass fractions of oxygen present after equilibration of (tungsten trioxide + liquid sodium) at temperatures in the range 473 K to 873 K by drawing off sodium and analysing it by a distillation method, the solid compounds present being identified by X-ray diffraction.
