Abstract

A descriptive dynamical system (X, B, N, T) consists of a non-empty set X, a σ-algebra B on X, a σ-ideal N ⊆ B and a one-one onto transformation T : X → X such that T and T-1 are measurable and preserve N. Here we give a set of sufficient conditions under which T has the same set of orbits as a von Neumann transformation.
