Abstract

Selective surfaces of PbS with SnO2 and ZnO antireflection coatings have been designed and fabricated using solution growth and spray pyrolysis techniques. The spectral reflectances of these systems have been calculated using the matrix multiplication method. The thickness of each layer has been optimized to obtain α > 0.90. The best values of α and ε100 obtained are 0.93 and 0.16 for the PbS/SnO2 system, and 0.92 and 0.15 for the PbS/ZnO system.
